Don't even think about diving Marquesas Rock unless you're an advanced diver with of course plenty of experience. It's deep and the current is strong, and it is very far from any type of help should you need it...thirty miles.

Look for a can-buoy that marks Marquesas Rock, and dive on down to witness a wonderful variety of marine life such as:

  • sailfish
  • squirrelfish
  • schools of jacks
  • sperm whales sometimes
  • occasional white sharks
